Pavers Foundation Supports Colleagues ‘Wearing it Pink!’

The Pavers Foundation, a charitable employee-led initiative of leading comfort footwear retailer, Pavers, has recently donated £500 to Boundary Outlet’s Wear it Pink event, in support of Breast Cancer Now.

The money was donated through the Pavers Foundation’s employee-led grant application scheme following an application by Marie Samuels-Meeds, Area Manager for Pavers stores in the Midlands region. Marie wanted to recognise the fundraising efforts taking place across the Boundary Outlets in October, many of which house Pavers concessions stores.

Staff across all Boundary Outlet stores have been taking part in various ‘pink themed’ fundraisers throughout October to raise funds and awareness for Breast Cancer Now. Marie applied for funding through the Foundation to support the efforts of the team at Boundary Outlet Walsall in particular, who have taken part in cake sales, raffles and ribbon sales, raising over £1,000 for the cause already.

Marie expressed her gratitude to the Foundation for supporting her colleagues; “I feel so full of pride to have been granted this donation. As a company, Pavers works closely with Boundary Outlet and to be able to support them in their fundraising campaign for Breast Cancer Now is just brilliant. The whole team at BO Walsall have been instrumental in fundraising and are so deserving of this charitable donation to increase their total”.

The Pavers Foundation is delighted to make this donation to a cause which is so important to its colleagues. The Foundation has donated over £1.4 million to good causes since it was established in 2018 and continues to make a difference with every pair sold.
